A publication of loosely connected thoughts and motifs
linking oceans, pyramids and other seemingly unrelated themes to a
multi-residential development in Kew, Melbourne. The book is typeset with deep indents and chamfered edges,
echoing the architectural language of the building itself. Curated images are
included in each spread to extend the abstract associations and explore the narrator’s
(my) underlying thought process. To compliment the ‘loose associations’ concept, I wrote the
publication in a stream-of-consciousness style, adopting the persona of self-described
“liberal thinker.” The text features spontaneous digressions and intentional
ambiguity.
